Your wellness and safety are our top priorities so we have developed a full series of safety measures, solely focused on creating a safe environment for our Guests and Team Members.
Health & Safety Measures:
At Newport Racing & Gaming, the health and safety of our guests and our team members is always a priority. Prior to opening, Newport Racing & Gaming partnered with The PYURE Company to install its state of the art air purification system to provide a safe and clean gaming environment for everyone. Recently, The PYURE Company announced that their technology is scientifically proven to rapidly and progressively kill SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) in air and on surfaces. Click here to visit their website and to learn more about The PYURE Company as well as the benefits of their technology.
Masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests and team members. Masks are required for non-vaccinated guests and must be worn covering your mouth and nose. If you need a mask, the Security Guard at the entrance will provide one to you. Anyone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 (such as coughing, chills, shortness of breath) after entering may be asked to leave.
The property is entirely smoke-free at this time. There is a designated smoking area outside near the entrance. Please do not smoke directly in front of the entrance doors.
Hand sanitizing stations are available on the gaming floor, at the entrances, in bathrooms, and in our bar area. We also encourage frequent hand washing.
We have Team Members moving throughout the property, cleaning everything from historical racing machines to high touch areas, to keep the building as safe as possible.
In order to encourage social distancing, we have strategically placed dividers in between our games and seats or turned off games to ensure 6 feet of distance between guests while playing.
To ensure proper social distancing, our Simulcast Wagering area is operating at a reduced capacity.
Signs encouraging social distancing, how to wear and remove a mask, how to wear and remove gloves, how stop the spread of germs, and properly wash hands are placed throughout the building.
Please do not visit if you have a fever, if you are not feeling well, have recently traveled outside the U.S., or have had contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19. Stay home and visit when the time is right.
